Turkish pm hailed as hero after eu talks

Spain will welcome the “martyrdom of our troops in the battle against terrorism”, the Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, said on Thursday as he offered his cond우리카지노olences to the family of a fallen soldier.

“We pay tribute to the people of Catalonia and to Spain,” Rajoy said as he visited the graves of 15 military personnel killed in the fight against terrorism in the region.

Spain’s government reacted swiftly to confirm the country’s involvement in the rescue and rescue operations in Catalonia as well as the operation to free those trapped.

In Catalonia, the state television showed scenes of dead and wounded military personnel on the streets after the dramatic operation at dawn on Thursday.

The police said it was also being attacked. “The operation has been successful. We had a clear path which led to an area where we were able to remove the terrorists, including all their command vehicles,” Catalan police chief Carles Puigdemont told reporters in a telephone interview.

At least five militants from the outlawed Catalan separatist group, Popular Unity Candida (CUP), had tried to kill all of the officers, he said.
