Police investigate currumbin fire at house near campus

One person was d바카라ead and several were injured Friday in a shooting at a home in the 300 block of Calumet Avenue, authorities said.

The shooting was reported about 3:30 a.m. Friday, and it happened around the corner from the house where an argument between two people broke out, said Metro Cincinnati Police Public Information Officer Officer John Lott.

One resident of the home called 911 and reported that someone in a car drove into a house that was being used for a fight and someone was shot inside that house, police said.

The person who called 911 didn’t know exactly how many people lived there and what was happening, Lott said. There was gunfire, and some windows were shattered, but people were okay, he said.

As of 8:30 p.m., three people remained hospitalized from injuries suffered in the shooting, Lott said. The wounded people were treated and released at the scene. No arrests had been made.
